My best friend, my hero

The cold catches me,
The white, icy snow sticking in my fur.
My vision begins to blur
As I see him attacking me.
That black wolf with that one red eye,
A scar covering his right eye that’s gone.
I begin to see
The darkness that falls all around me
As I feel his strong jaws clamping around my throat.
The pain I feel,
Is this real?
I once lived a happy live,
Now I have to sacrifice
Myself, to show I’m worth it
To be a member of this pack.
I had to go back
To my father, his mate and the den.
But now it’s too late
Is this my fate?
Then, I hear a sound.
Someone is running up to me,
Saving me from my family member
That’s trying to kill me.
The male falls, my hero turns around.
It’s my best friend who came to save me.
And he will till his end,
Till the pain reaches his body.
He my sibling,
My best friend,
My hero.
